PETROPERÚ awarded the good pro of the Biodiesel B100 acquisition process

After conducting an exhaustive and rigorous evaluation of the four proposals of the participating national and international companies, this afternoon PETROPERÚ awarded Heaven Petroleum Operators S.A. the contract of the competitive acquisition process COM-013-2021-GDCH/PETROPERÚ, for the purchase of Biodiesel B100 for the period between January and April of this year.

The process, which began on January 5 with the invitation to 69 qualified suppliers, both national and international, with experience in supplying this fuel, was carried out with total transparency, in accordance with the  PETROPERÚ hydrocarbon procurement procedure.

The notary public Rulby Vela Velásquez participated in the reception of proposals, held on January 10, 2022, and attested to the act, so that the process is carried out with the principles of transparency, impartiality and fair and equal treatment between the participating companies.

In total, four proposals were received, two from the international companies Repsol Trading S.A. and Trafigura Pte. Ltd. The other two were from the national companies Bio Energy Peru S.A.C. and Heaven Petroleum Operators S.A.

In this way, and with the purchase of this product, PETROPERÚ will guarantee the production and supply of fuels, at the national level, in accordance with the regulations in force in the country's hydrocarbon market.

Likewise, the state company has been coordinating the simultaneous control of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic in the hydrocarbon purchasing processes that it executes.
