Petroperú delivers seed capital to Talara women's ventures
Eight Talara women, graduates of the technical-productive training in Cooking and Baking and Pastry that Petroperú started in April of this year, received seed capital to start their microenterprise, after successfully presenting and sustaining their business projects.
They are part of a group of 80 women (40 from the Pariñas district and 40 from the La Brea-Negritos district) who participated in a six-month training by the National Industrial Work Training Service (SENATI), contracted by Petroperú. , in order to strengthen their technical skills and allow them to develop a business, which contributes to generating income for their basic family basket.
The graduates, as part of their training, also received a course in business management, soft skills and personalized advice for the design and presentation of their entrepreneurial projects. Their performance, the support of their business plans and the personal interview were the next steps taken to determine the winners of the seed capital.
The winners in the Cooking specialty are Katherin Mercedes Sócola Yovera and Teresa del Socorro Quintana Sosa from Chira, in Pariñas; while Angela Tatiana Pighi Murillo and Cecilia Peralta de Zapata were the winners in La Brea - Negritos.
For their part, in the specialty of Bakery and Pastry, the following were recognized: Yanina Paola Atoche Gonzales de Vílchez and Angelyne Judith Arcela Benites, in Pariñas; while Dalma Nerhea Aguirre Zapata de Rodríguez and Ayvee Roxana Aguirre Zapata achieved it in La Brea- Negritos.
All of them received equipment and utensils to take off their business activity such as: industrial kitchen, industrial pots and pans, ladles, chopping boards, knives, bakery oven and electric oven, industrial mixer, metal bowls, set of molds, caps ( kitchen towels, aprons, among other implements.
In the coming weeks, Petroperú will provide the necessary support in the process of establishing the companies and, after that, a stage of supervision and monitoring of the sales generated by these ventures will begin.
This technical-productive training program is part of the commitments of the Local Development Support Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project, and of the Community Relations Plan of Lot I-Talara.
