Young people improve their socio-emotional skills to enter the labor market

Within the framework of the "Corporate Program for the development of skills and competencies for the improvement of the labor trajectory aimed at students of 4th and 5th year of secondary school (Conchan, Ninacaca, Ilo and Talara) - educating today for tomorrow's work", PETROPERÚ held a virtual seminar aimed at young program participants, whose purpose was to share successful experiences in order to expand their knowledge on the development of socio-emotional skills in students linked to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines.

In this virtual seminar, experts on the subject presented the participants with practical experiences on how to improve and develop their socio-emotional skills to competitively face the current world of work, as well as keys to enhance their insertion capacity through the strengthening of skills, related to disciplines such as technology and innovation, currently essential for success in the world of work.

The program "Educating today for the work of tomorrow" not only focuses on completing the knowledge of secondary education, but also on developing and improving skills and abilities that the market prioritizes today (Employability S. + STEAM S. + Entrepreneurship S.) key topics to turn today's students into entrepreneurs and successful workers of tomorrow.

This Program is part of the Social Investment actions framed in the Education line of action with which PETROPERÚ reaffirms its commitment to young people and the population near our operations.
