With the virtual and face-to-face participation of more than 6,600 workers, PETROPERÚ carried out a Safety Stop at all its operational headquarters nationwide, in order to strengthen the preventive culture among the Company's personnel, the workers of the different companies. contractors and customers who visit the Sales Plant and Terminals.
During the preventive safety seminar, the General Manager of PETROPERÚ, Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, pointed out that the objective of this corporate activity is to strengthen knowledge of the “Stop Work” methodology, which establishes safety as the main value of the Company.
At the Talara Refinery facilities, more than 5,000 workers participated in the in-person Safety Stop, including personnel from PETROPERÚ and the contractor companies that work in the construction of the new Talara Refinery or provide services to this operation. Something similar happened at other company headquarters, such as Refinería Conchán, where we have more than 250 participants.
PETROPERÚ workers who are working remotely also participated in a virtual way in the preventive day that was directed by the leaders of the different Company managements, who highlighted the importance of carrying out the work safely, always putting in health, safety and the environment first.
