Winning works of the 2021 Copé Award were presented at the Lima Book Fair
As part of PETROPERÚ's cultural activities, the winners of the 2021 Copé Award for Poetry and Novel presented their works at the 26th edition of the Lima International Book Fair – FIL Lima 2022, considered the main book promotion activity in the country.
Daniel Arenas Bardales, winner of the 2021 Copé Gold Award with his collection of poems Ciertas formas del fuego, participated in the presentation held in the Abraham Valdelomar auditorium of the FIL Lima 2022, as well as César Humberto Olivares Acate, who won the Copé Silver Award, in poetry, for his work Buey manso o doce cantos para disuadir al matarife and Miguel Luis Gil Castro, who received the Bronze Copé Award for poetry for his work Cinco días en Huarochirí.
In the same way, José Luis Villanueva Victorio, winner of the Copé Gold Award, novel category, participated for his work Serpiente Resplandeciente, a historical novel that recreates the revolution of Tupac Amaru II, through an agile narrative and showing the character under a gaze broader picture of that iconic figure in history.
The literary critics Marco Matos Carrera and Agustín Prado Alvarado highlighted the winning works of the most important literary contest in the country and that can be acquired by the public at the PETROPERÚ booth at FIL Lima 2022. Likewise, Matos Carrera highlighted the collection of poems with the mentions honorable and finalists of the 2021 Copé Award.
For her part, Carla Santa Cruz Sandoval, corporate manager of Communications and Institutional Relations of PETROPERÚ, recalled that the Copé Award is the most important literary contest in the country, with 43 years of constant uninterrupted work, promoting new writers and consolidating already experienced to strengthen reading in our country.

Until next Sunday, August 7, in the Próceres de la Independencia park in the Jesús María district, the public will be able to visit PETROPERÚ's booth at FIL Lima 2022, where the winning works of the 2021 Copé Award can be purchased, as well as the usual publications of Ediciones Copé.
