Volunteers from PETROPERU delivered goods to victings of the fire in the Nueva Talara human settlement
A group of collaborators representing the volunteers of PETROPERU - Talara Refinery, arrived at the Nueva Talara Human Settlement to deliver important donations of basic necessities to the six families affected by the fire that occurred early on Friday, April 19.
The volunteer collaborators of PETROPERU, aware of the incident, organized and motivated the solidarity of their colleagues, who in a quick and generous response managed to collect and acquire an important amount of non-perishable food, toiletries and cleaning, clothes and shoes.
The PETROPERU Volunteering is part of the Social Responsibility Program of the state-owned company and is made up, in Talara, of more than 120 employees of the institution with a deep orientation towards service and solidarity with people in vulnerable situations.
"The volunteering of Petroperú is willing to give time and join efforts to help those who need it most and, in this way, show the human face that the company has to the entire community of Talara," said Fanning Valdera, Community Relations Supervisor Refinery Talara.
