University students visit PETROPERU operations in Talara

PETROPERÚ continues to spread the benefits of the New Talara Refinery among its different interest groups, one of them being the university community, for which it received a delegation of students from the Professional School of Geology of the National University of Piura, who participated in an informative meeting and guided visit to the new facilities of the refining complex of the state oil company, in Talara.

Both students and teachers received a detailed technical presentation and a presentation on the infrastructure and technology of the new refinery, considered a benchmark in South America for its ability to produce cleaner and better-quality fuels.

The visit included a tour of the New Control Room and the new flare, from where they had access to a panoramic view of the entire new refining complex.

In this way, PETROPERÚ continues with its work of disseminating the main benefits that the operation of the New Talara Refinery will bring with it, planning to hold -next July- specialized conferences in universities, publicizing everything related to the hydrocarbons sector, through the Facebook Live of the state oil company.
