On the morning of today,07.21.2018, an industrial oil 6 leak was detected in one of the dispatch lines, inside the facilities of the Talara Refinery, which was confined in a ditch.

This incident did not cause any damage to personnel, equipment or facilities, and was immediately serviced by our personnel, who halted the operation along this line and began immediate recovery according to established operational and safety procedures.

PETROPERU is currently investigating the causes of this event, which is being reported to the competent authorities.

Likewise, it expresses its willingness to inform the community of Talara in a timely and transparent manner.
