PETROPERU reports that today, at 10:30 am, the Catalytic Cracking Complex (CCC) of the Talara Refinery went out of service as a consequence of a failure in the cooling water supply system.

After solving the aforementioned problem, at 10:45 am, the start-up maneuvers of the CCC began, in accordance with the established procedures.

During these start-up maneuvers there was an emission of black smoke, which was immediately controlled by our personnel who continue working to put the plant into operation in the next few hours.

Petroperu informs that the works are being carried out under our safety standards.
