The Chairman of the Board of PETROPERU, Eduardo Guevara Dodds and the General Manager, Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, made a working visit to the Conchán Refinery facilities to supervise the progress of the improvement projects that are underway.

The tour began at the Effluent Treatment Plant and then the work being carried out for the expansion of the sewer was confirmed, projects that allow compliance with current legislation regarding the discharge of effluents and the integrity of pipelines, achieving high standards of quality and contributing to the care of the environment.

Later, they visited the Conchán Sales Plant, where they verified the operation of the new and modern fuel dispatch automation system, which is remotely supervised from a control room, connected to a closed-circuit television. In this plant it is possible to serve up to 350 tanks per day.

Following all biosafety protocols, Guevara Dodds and Barrientos Gonzales continued with the visit to the maintenance and inspection offices and workshops, as well as the modern laboratory in which more than 100,000 tests are carried out per year, using state-of-the-art equipment.

The visit culminated in the Control Room, where they verified the proper functioning of the Processing Units, which are operated by staff who have been working in person, strictly complying with the biosafety protocols implemented by the company to prevent the spread of COVID -19.

During the tour, the Chairman of the Board and the General Manager were accompanied by the Conchán Refining Department Manager, Janet Zehnder Schuler, who highlighted the commitment of the workers of this operation to sustain the production of quality fuels and the timely supply to the market. national.

Also present at the visit were the Commercial Manager, Arturo Vargas; the Innovation Manager, Jairo Sabogal and Santiago Santa María, Supply Chain Manager, who made a previous visit to service stations affiliated with Petrored, where they have been working on the implementation of improvements to provide a new customer experience.
