The final improvement works will be done on avenue G

As part of the final improvement works of Avenue G of Talara, the placement of a new asphalt layer of two inches of hot thickness in 4,890.87 square meters, in the sections between Plazuela Quiñones and the intersection with the Avenue A and of the property G-73 to the Punta Arenas roundabout.

The works, which are carried out over a period of 15 days, also include the repair of potholes, the recovery of 160 square meters of road with asphalt layer and the pavement marking on the pavement. During the execution of these tasks, the Provincial Municipality of Talara controls vehicular traffic.

As can be remembered, the improvement works of Avenue G are executed as part of PETROPERU's social responsibility program. Prior to these last works, the critical section was intervened, included the one between Plazuela Quiñones and Avenue H. These works included the construction of a reinforced concrete slab, culverts and sardine.

In this first stage, the removal of a sewage line that generated water in the area and the change of the collector pipe that passes through Avenue F, in order to avoid collapses that damage the repaired road, was also carried out. In addition, rainwater evacuation gutters were installed to replace the old iron ones, which were easily damaged by the passage of heavy traffic or were taken away by recyclers.

Rehabilitation of channel

Likewise, PETROPERU will carry out the rehabilitation of the Avenue G channel, which was seriously affected by the rains that took place in 2017, through which the waters and the mud that flows from the upper parts of the city during the intense rainy periods.
