The Chairman of the Board of Directors supervised the firefighting system of the Iquitos Refinery

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroperú, Alejandro Narváez, made a working visit to the Iquitos Refinery, where he supervised the tests of the fire-fighting system in the gasoline tank farm, verifying the correct operation of pumps, pipeline networks and other critical systems. This effort includes the recent installation of 3,400 linear meters of pipelines, consolidating a higher level of operational safety in the region.

As part of his agenda, Narváez also visited the sales plant, where he received a report on the fuel transfer system through a 14-kilometer pipeline from the Iquitos Refinery, and the measures implemented to prevent contingencies, in line with the efficiency and safety standards that characterize Petroperú. He also inspected the Petrocentro gas station, the company's only direct point of sale, which plays a key role in regulating fuel prices in the region.

The day concluded with an interactive conversation with the workers of this operation, who play an essential role in the production of fuels for the region. During the meeting, Narváez presented a report on the financial situation of the company, outlined the strategic plans for its recovery and urged them to commit to dynamic, responsible work aligned with Petroperú's objectives.

Narváez said that these visits will be constant, with the purpose of maintaining direct and transparent communication, strengthening the bond between the workers and the company's management.
