For the second consecutive year, PETROPERU and the Philharmonic Society of Lima come together with the purpose of decentralizing music and offering a remarkable free flute and guitar concert this Tuesday, August 6, at 7:00 p.m., at the Javier Pérez de Auditorium Cuellar. This initiative is part of the activities to promote art and culture that the state-owned company carries out in the Talara, where the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT) is being executed.

In this third concert that PETROPERU performs in this city, the duo will be presented formed by the young and talented Peruvian musicians Daniel Cueto (flute) and Álvaro Mendizábal (guitar) who will captivate the attendees performing the famous melodies of the composers Johann Sebastián Bach, Mauro Giuliani, Jacques Ibert, Celso Garrido Lecca and Astor Piazzola, including a varied repertoire include classical, Andean and tango music.

Daniel Cueto, is a composer and flutist, professor of music theory and analysis at the Universities of Music of Detmold and Cologne (Germany) and Álvaro Mendizábal is a tireless promoter of classical guitar, in addition to working for one of the leading artistic agencies (IMG Artists - New York).

In this way, PETROPERU continues to develop a varied program of cultural and artistic activities of free admission for the public's enjoyment of the oil city, in line with the Local Development Support program of the PMRT Community Relations Plan and its cultural policy.
