Talara schools receive personal protective equipment against COVID-19
Petroperú continues to contribute to the safety and quality of education in Talara. This time, the company allied with education in the oil city, delivered Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) supplies, benefiting 15,817 students and teachers from 25 schools located in the districts of Pariñas and La Brea.
The biosafety material delivered to each educational institution is made up of surgical masks, one-liter bottles with antibacterial gel, pedal-operated gel dispensers, in quantities proportional to the number of students and teachers.
The schools favored by this initiative are: Ceba 15037-38, Ceba Ignacio Merino, José Cayetano Heredia, Santa Rosa de Lima, Domingo Savio, San Martín de Porres, María Reiche, Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, José Gálvez Egúsquiza, Ignacio Merino, La Inmaculada, Máximo Heraclio Cornejo Pacora, Monsignor Luis Pacheco Wilson, Alejandro Taboada Polytechnic, María Reina de la Paz, Emblemática 15513, Jorge Chávez, General Felipe Santiago Salaverry, Crnl. FAP Víctor Maldonado Begazo, Cristo Rey, José Pardo y Barreda, Santa Elena, 20488, Casas Negras and Jabonillal, which were identified in coordination with the Local Educational Management Unit - UGEL Talara.
This social projection activity is carried out in line with the Local Development Support Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.
