As part of its voluntary commitment to Social Responsibility, through its “Educating for Tomorrow” program, PETROPERÚ delivered packages with educational material to the 18 public primary schools in the district of Pariñas, favoring collaborative work in the classroom. classes to an average of 7,378 students.

The 289 packages with educational material for use in the classroom, which will be delivered to primary schools, in coordination with the UGEL Talara, will contribute to the satisfactory development of the pedagogical work and the contents proposed in the national curriculum.

In the district of Pariñas, educational material will be delivered to public primary schools, General Felipe Santiago Salaverry, Coronel FAP Víctor Maldonado Begazo, María Reyna de la Paz, Emblemática 15513, Jorge Chávez, José Cayetano Heredia, Santa Rosa de Lima , Domingo Savio, San Martín de Porres, Our Lady of Lourdes, José Gálvez Egúsquiza, María Reiche, Máximo Heraclio Cornejo Pacora, Monsignor Luis Pacheco Wilson, Santa Elena, Casas Negras, Jabonillal and San Sebastián.

It is important to mention that, in the last fourteen years, 11,707 educational packages have been delivered, benefiting more than 123,100 students in Talara.

Educating for Tomorrow

In addition to the annual delivery of school supplies to the district's educational institutions, PETROPERÚ, since 2021, has been developing the "Educating Today for Tomorrow's Work" program, in favor of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade high school students from five institutions public educational institutions in Talara who have strengthened their skills to improve their careers in three axes: personal branding, generation of entrepreneurship and strengthening of their skills in innovation and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Through the Mi Profe Program, during 2021 PETROPERÚ offered guidance and awareness to Talara students who are in their 4th and 5th year of secondary school in Talara schools in making decisions regarding the choice of their professional career, sharing various tools and strategies that provide support and additional information at this important stage of their lives.

Likewise, the delivery of comprehensive scholarships for Higher technical education, with which, in 2021 alone, 120 outstanding young people from Talara have benefited who completed their secondary studies in public schools in Talara in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. They this year they will obtain their degree on behalf of the Nation in careers that enjoy a high local, regional and national labor demand.
