Talara locals enjoyed the lighting of the Christmas Tree

In the midst of a festive atmosphere, the Talara family witnessed the lighting of the Christmas tree in the city, which was in charge of the company PETROPERÚ, which every year participates in the traditional setting of the Plaza Grau de Talara, to commemorate the Birth of Jesus and the advent of a new year.

The activity began with the staging of the storytelling of magical Christmas stories, thanks to a cast of Trujillo artists who kept the audience's attention from beginning to end, singing and dancing Christmas carols. The presentation culminated with the lighting of the Christmas tree that occupies a privileged place in the heart of the city.

Children and adults took advantage of the allegories installed by the state company to take photographs next to Santa Claus and other characters characteristic of these celebrations, who during their interaction with the public promote values and highlight the customs and traditions of our country.

The Public Services Manager of the Municipality of Talara, Marcos García Alama, on behalf of the Provincial Mayor, thanked the participation of PETROPERU in this activity that every year brings together the Talareños in the center of the city. The official indicated that as the main neighbor, PETROPERU is present at important events in the province, sharing with the local community.

PETROPERU informed that during the days leading up to the Christmas celebrations, activations will take place around the tree for the enjoyment of the neighbors and their relatives who live outside and at this time return to Plaza Grau, the main meeting point of the province.
