Talara locals enjoyed a musical evening of flute and guitar

The Talara audience enjoyed the Arie Duo concert given by the Hungarian flutist Anita Farkas and the Peruvian guitarist Juan Carlos Arancibia on the night of last Tuesday, July 10, in the auditorium of the Casa de la Juventud de Talara.

The president of the Philharmonic Society of Lima, Salomon Lerner Febres, thanked PETROPERU for this contribution to culture that allows decentralizing the cultural activities of classical music in cities such as Talara.

The repertoire interpreted by the outstanding musicians included classic pieces and contemporary music that the public enjoyed until the end. Among the pieces that made those present vibrate, is "Estructuras del Cóndor Pasa", a musical adaptation of this emblematic theme of national pride.

Anita and Juan Carlos debuted as a duo in 2008 and currently both develop a successful career in Europe. Anita Farkas studied transverse flute in the Musical Academy of Anatolien University (Turkey) and in the Superior School of Music of Detmold. Juan Carlos Arancibia is a graduate of the National Conservatory of Music and currently performs an intense pedagogical activity in Peru and Germany.

In this way, PETROPERU and the Philharmonic Society of Lima join efforts to bring art and culture to the city of Talara, where they will hold a new concert on September 6, which will be in charge of the renowned Peruvian musician Claudio Constantini.
