Talara locals are informed about PETROPERU and its New Talara Refinery

In the midst of great public expectation, the Information Fair was inaugurated: PETROPERU: Yesterday and today, building a future, at the Plaza Grau in Talara. This activity allows the population to know the milestones that marked the 50 years of history of the state-owned company, as well as its social management, good corporate governance and the construction of the New Talara Refinery.

During the first day, the informative fair was visited by dozens of neighbors of all ages, who showed great interest in learning about the construction progress of the new Talara Refinery, using virtual reality glasses and the information material provided by the exhibitors.

In the other modules, information on the history of the Company that was born in Talara on July 24, 1969 is offered and since that date it has continued to contribute to the growth of our country and in particular of this province.

It will also be possible to know the integrity and transparency practices implemented by PETROPERU to guarantee good corporate governance, as well as initiatives in health, education, environmental protection, empowerment and strengthening of productive capacities that are carried out in Talara as part of social management.
