Talara children's theater workshop ends

Children and adolescents from the city of Talara completed the theater workshop, "Discovering Acting", carried out by PETROPERÚ as part of the cultural program that it carries out each year in the city of black gold, with the aim of contributing to the development of acting skills, corporal and verbal expression, creativity and the imagination of local minors.

After five intense days full of self-discovery, self-learning and fun carried out virtually, the closing activity of the course was in charge of the outstanding national actresses and teachers, Lenybeth Luna Victoria and Alejandra Saba, who during the classes encouraged the minors to create to their own characters, stories and their interpretation with objects or resources available at home.

“We have done physical and vocal work with the children, but we also communicate with the body and any object can stand in for another in a creative way. Theater opens that door for us. Theater helps us develop that artistic and sensitive side that strengthens us as people”, said Lennybeth Luna Victoria.

The free theater workshop is part of the actions that PETROPERÚ carries out in line with its Cultural Policy for the development and promotion of art for the benefit of the northern population, where the state company is currently executing the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.
