Supply plant in Pasco is being built only with local labor

The progress in the construction of the New Ninacaca Supply Plant has an important component: 100% of the unskilled labor for the building is from Pasco; These are workers and workers who perform the work of leveling the land for the construction of this infrastructure work.

To date, the personnel in the work exceeds thirty and its mission is to prepare the land, in order to rid it of weeds and shrubs, after which it will serve as a base for the embankments that will make up the landfill. The cleaning and removal is carried out in accordance with the progress of work, which includes the opening of ditches, using heavy equipment, which will also serve for the construction of the access road and the internal roads.

It should be noted that the New Ninacaca Supply Plant registers, to date, an advance of 6.94% and, when it is completed, it will satisfactorily meet the current and projected demand for liquid fuels mainly destined for the central region of the country. The OBS-IMECON consortium is the contractor responsible for the work.

During the construction, the water from the lagoons and rivers of the area will NOT be used, but rather from tanker trucks that will be hired from external sources.

This new plant will be located one kilometer from the district of the same name, at 4,140 meters above sea level. It will be built on land of more than 121 m2 and will have a storage capacity of 7,500 barrels of 3 fuels: diesel B5 (2 thousand barrels), gasoline of 90 octane (1,500 barrels) and 84 octane (500 barrels); in addition to 6,104 barrels of water in its fire system, which includes motor pumps, tank, pipe network, sprinklers, monitors, hydrants, detectors, fire extinguishers, as well as water and foam systems.

This way, PETROPERU is optimizing its supply network in the country and reaffirms its commitment to the progress and development of Ninacaca and the Pasco region.
