Summer workshop in Talara ends in a presentation of Peruvian dances

With great satisfaction of the participating children and adolescents and their families, the free summer workshop on Peruvian dances carried out by Petroperú in Talara, as part of its Cultural Policy and its commitments to encourage and promote art and culture, came to an end.

During nine sessions, the participants strengthened their bodily expression skills and their knowledge of the main typical dances, customs, and traditions of each region of the country.

The participating children and adolescents finished the workshop with a presentation of the typical Intiwichi and Morenada dances, demonstrating all their talent before the local authorities, guests and family members.

The free Peruvian dance workshop is part of the actions that Petroperú carries out in line with its Cultural Policy and the activities to foster and promote art for the benefit of the population of the oil province, in coordination with the Local Educational Management Unit.

Petroperú promotes cultural production, access to culture and intercultural citizenship through the face-to-face and virtual activities it carries out through its cultural center.
