Successful health campaign by PETROPERU in Loreto within the framework of its Contingency Plan

Hundreds of families from different communities of the Loreto region have received medical attention and examinations from PETROPERU, within the framework of the Contingency Plan that the oil company executes in the area, especially in the communities of Mayuriaga, Santa Rosa, Sinchi, Bethlehem, Palestine and Pijuayal.
The session, which is part of the commitment of the Company with the development and quality of life of the Amazonian peoples, will last until this Friday, and has the presence of two general practitioners, as well as dentists, nurses and health technicians, who have emphasized the treatment of frequent cases of anemia, parasitosis and chronic malnutrition, which are mainly registered in children. The focus is also on the elderly.
Likewise, attention will be reinforced among children from 0 to 5 years old, where anemia, diarrheal, respiratory and parasitic diseases prevail. These attentions are carried out in coordinated action with the Ministry of Health.
The implements, transfer and accommodation of medical personnel are in charge of the state oil company, within the framework of its Social Responsibility plan which also includes training for health specialists in order to facilitate their relationship with the population of said communities.
These activities reaffirm PETROPERU's commitment to improving the quality of life of the populations and communities neighboring its facilities, within the framework of its policies of social contribution and support for the well-being of the inhabitants of the region.
