Subcontractor of the PMRT solves salary payment issues with its workers

PETROPERU reports that in the follow-up meeting to guarantee the compliance with the commitments made by the representatives of the MONSA Company, subcontractor of Graña y Montero (GyM), it was announced that the entirety of the salary payments were made by the MONSA Company to their workers.

With the payment of the pending wages, the 145 workers will return tomorrow to their respective work posts in the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.

The commitment was to pay in full the debt during the week, however, in an effort to solve the demand of their workers, the MONSA Company and GyM met their commitment ahead of schedule.

PETROPERU will continue and intensify their preventive control actions and coordination with their contractor and subcontractor in order to avoid these events to take place again.

This way, PETROPERU reaffirms it commitment to guaranteeing the fulfilment of the labor obligations of the workers of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project. We will continue to report.
