Statement 30-2017

With regard to the unfortunate event which occurred at Station N ° 8 of the North Peruvian Pipeline, located in the province of Jaen, Cajamarca, we report:

• Mr. Harold Cordova Torres, (DNI N° 02877220), who suffered first and second degree burns and was immediately evacuated to receive medical attention, remains stable and out of danger in a clinic in Piura, where he has been offered the necessary treatment for his recovery.
• PETROPERU continues to make maximum efforts to provide the corresponding care to the relatives of the two workers of the PROCIN contractor, who unfortunately died in the accident. In addition, permanent coordination is maintained with the PNP and the Office of the Prosecutor.
• PETROPERU reiterates its heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the deceased and will continue to report on the progress of the investigations.
