Statement 23-2017

PETROPERU regretfully informs that today, Wednesday, November 1, at approximately 12:10, our worker, Mr. Luis Isaac García Sandoval, Effluent Operator, suffered an accident when he fell from the gangway that connects to industrial effluent water tanks, in the Port Terminal of Conchan Refinery, in Lima. Despite having received first aid and being immediately transferred to a private clinic, unfortunately he died from the injuries suffered.

PETROPERU expresses its deep condolences to the relatives of our worker and is carrying out the corresponding actions to address this regrettable circumstance according to law.

Likewise, the Company is investigating the causes of the accident and referring the reports to the corresponding inspection authorities.
