Sports championship in Villa El Salvador promoted by PETROPERU came to an end

With the triumph of the team representing the Human Settlement (AAHH) Palmeras de Villa El Salvador (VES), the PETROPERU 2018 Human Inter Settlements Sports Championship came to its end yesterday, an event organized by the Conchan Refinery to promote sports activities among neighbors.

The second place of the soccer tournament was held by the team from AAHH  20 de Octubre; while the third and fourth place were occupied by the teams of the AAHH Héroes del Cenepa and Jardines, respectively.

During the two dates that the championship lasted, the twelve teams of the same number of Human Settlements of VES played the cup and demonstrated not only their skills with the ball but, above all, their commitment, responsibility and teamwork.

It should be noted that the first two places received, in addition to their respective trophies, sports equipment such as sports bags, balls and shirts, so they can continue practicing football in their communities.

The final of this event, which brought together dozens of local families in a day of entertainment and integration, was held in the sports court Aires de Pachacamac, where an exhibition of adult women's volleyball was also held.

These sports activities, which are carried out constantly as a tradition among the communities near the PETROPERU facilities, contribute to promote healthy entertainment, integration and good relations between neighbors.
