Schools of Talara participate in the II National Dance Competition

This Friday July 13, in the Plaza Grau of Talara, PETROPERU will hold the II Interschool National Dance Competition, as part of its activities of Development and Promotion of Culture and Art of the Community Relations Plan (PRC) activities of the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT).

Starting at 5:00 p.m., the delegations of the participating educational institutions will demonstrate their artistic skill by presenting Peruvian scenes of the three regions of the country.

The educational institutions La Inmaculada, Federico Villarreal, 15512 Andres A. Caceres, 15508 Domingo Savio, Capitan FAP Emilio E. Velarde Vargas and Coronel FAP VIctor Maldonado Begazo participate in this contest.

The participating schools will be evaluated by a qualifying jury made up of dance specialists and representatives of renowned institutions in the dissemination of our folklore. At the end of the competition the results will be announced and the winners will be rewarded.

This way, PETROPERU promotes art and culture, as well as supporting the development of local talent in the field of dance. This contest is part of the cultural activities developed by the Company in Talara and includes -for the first time in the province- the concerts of the Philharmonic Society of Lima, as well as exhibitions, book presentations, fairs and presentation of local cuisine.
