Schoolchildren receive technical training thanks to PETROPERÚ

One hundred 4th and 5th grade students, from the districts of La Brea- Negritos and Pariñas, in Talara, successfully completed the technical training implemented by PETROPERÚ in the oil city with certification.

The graduates of this technical training program, which was in charge of Senati, are students from public educational institutions: La Inmaculada, María Reina de la Paz, Emblemática 15513, José Gálvez Egúsquiza, Politécnico Alejandro Taboada, La Brea and José Pardo y Barreda.

The young people participated and passed a rigorous selection process, among more than 300 applicants, taking into account that this type of training is given to help young people enter the world of work more quickly.

They were trained in the courses of graphic design, digital marketing, maintenance and support in electronic systems and universal welding. The contents of these subjects were delivered in a didactic way, taking into account the characteristics of the students.

This initiative is part of PETROPERÚ's Social Management actions, as part of the Local Development Support Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project and the Community Relations Plan of Lot I, seeking to strengthen the skills of young people.
