Schoolchildren of Jaén receive free Copé books from PETROPERU
PETROPERU, staying true to its commitment to the development of education and dissemination of culture in the country, continues to deliver bibliographic material nationwide. This time, it was the schoolchildren of the educational institution “María Inmaculada” - Fe y Alegría No. 78, from the district of Pucará, Jaén, Cajamarca, who received dozens of books by Copé Ediciones.
The works include copies of various authors, such as Luis E. Valcárcel and César Vallejo; as well as winning works of the various categories in Story, Poetry and Novel promoted by the Copé Competition every year.
The director of the educational center, Blanca Veliz Barandiarán, thanked this important contribution from the state oil company. "These books will help optimize the education of schoolchildren and, at the same time, will support the development of the country," he said. It should be noted that more than 650 students, from the primary and secondary levels of said campus will benefit from this delivery, as part of the library implementation program.
This way, PETROPERU reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of culture and education by promoting reading and increasing knowledge in schoolchildren.
