School enterprises receive seed fund from PETROPERÚ
The corporate program for the development of skills and competencies for the improvement of the labor trajectory, aimed at students from 3rd to 5th grade of secondary school, "Educating today for tomorrow's work" of PETROPERÚ, recognized and awarded six school entrepreneurship projects of Talara, with the delivery of a seed fund to promote its implementation.
The Entrepreneurship Contest sought to strengthen the development of entrepreneurial skills and abilities, creativity and innovation of students, in two project themes: community development and environment; supporting their business initiatives before a jury of experts from Marcelino Champagnat University and The Learning Factor company.
In Talara, the program strengthens the job placement or job creation capacity of 1,239 students from five state schools (Domingo Savio, La Inmaculada, Crnel. FAP Víctor Maldonado Begazo, Politécnico Alejandro Taboada and Ignacio Merino), through the development and/or strengthening of the skills and competencies that make up the job profiles with the best projection in the job market.
The students from Talar, winners of the first and second place in the Entrepreneurship Contest, creditors of the seed capital of one thousand soles and 500 soles respectively, in the 4th and 5th year secondary school students’ modality are:

The program is part of the Social Investment actions framed in the Education line of action with which PETROPERÚ reaffirms its commitment to young people and the population close to our operations.
School libraries
The schools that are part of this work program received from PETROPERÚ a selection of books from Ediciones Copé, benefiting a school population of 4,184 students through the promotion of reading and the dissemination of knowledge among schoolchildren.
