Salary administration policy of PETROPERÚ S.A.
The Salary Administration Procedure of PETROPERÚ was modernized after more than 15 years, to be competitive in the market and which is in force and in the process of dissemination after its last update in June 2021.
It should be noted that this latest update has not generated salary increases as has been erroneously reported in some media and even less so that the salaries that our employees currently receive have amounts equivalent to 58 thousand soles, since these are well below said amount.
The objective of this procedure, approved in line with our internal policies, is to support the People Management strategy, which is aligned with the strategy and objectives of the organization, achieving a permanent balance between the needs of the Company and the aspirations of your workers.
Along these lines, it is PETROPERÚ's commitment to reward its workers with equitable remuneration for the position they perform, which must be related to the best practices of the national market, in such a way as to attract, motivate and retain talents, workers who must have with adequate competencies to achieve business objectives.
The compensation strategy is a set of variables that defines the salary position of the Company in the market in which it competes, and whose objective is to ensure the attraction and retention of talent by making efficient use of the personnel budget. Annually, this strategy is reviewed and adjusted, if necessary.
