PETROPERÚ began the registration and application process for the position of cleaning promoters of the “Cleaning of Critical Points of municipal solid waste” project in the city of Talara, which will generate 1,200 temporary rotating jobs and allow for a city that is clean and attractive for tourism.

The registration process is free and will take place until August 2 at the Office of Information and Citizen Participation (OIPC), located on Av. C s/n, in front of the PETROPERU Social Club, in Talara, from 8:00 at 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Those interested in this process must be of legal age, with a complete primary education and it will not be necessary to have experience in similar work. At the time of registration, applicants must present their ID and an electric, water or telephone bill that proves their address in Talara. Subsequently, OIPC staff will perform the home verification.

For the sake of transparency, the pre-selection process will be carried out by means of two draws in which the applicants of the four cones of the city that have registered correctly in the established period will participate. The dates of these events will be communicated in a timely manner so that the population can follow them through digital media.

This project, which is carried out in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara, is part of the Community Relations Plan of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project and also includes the cleaning of critical points of garbage accumulation in the city, and the installation of containers in Critical places of accumulation of solid waste.

In parallel, specialized personnel will implement a sensitization plan that will seek to educate the neighbors for the correct segregation of their waste and the care of the decoration of their homes. At this stage the Clean Neighborhood contest will be held, which will contribute to encouraging the participation of the neighbors in the care of their surroundings.
