Regional and local authorities visited the New Talara Refinery in its last stage of construction

The Regional Councilor for Talara Yasser Arámbulo and the councilors and officials of the Provincial Municipality of Talara, visited the New Talara Refinery, a work that is in its last stage of construction, with the intention of starting its progressive start of operations beginning next April.

The participants received the institutional greeting from the Talara Refinery Corporate Manager, Arturo Rodríguez Paredes and the technical presentation from the PMRT and Management Dept. Manager, Gustavo Villa, who provided technical information on the new refining complex, its technology, the profitability of its investment, the social investment made and the environmental management carried out in the oil city in recent years.

After the presentation of the project, the visitors took a guided tour of the facilities of the New Talara Refinery, which to date has registered a comprehensive progress of 96.63%.

The visit of the authorities and officials was carried out following the security measures that correspond to an industrial zone, as well as the protocols established for the surveillance, prevention and control of COVID-19.

The New Talara Refinery will have 16 modern Processing Units and five Auxiliary Units and facilities that will allow the production of clean fuels that guarantee the preservation of the country's air quality.
