Public security in Ilo is strengthened thanks to PETROPERU

The port of Ilo will see its citizen security reinforced thanks to the support of PETROPERÚ by installing four video surveillance cameras in the Villa del Mar Urbanization, which are already connected to the Emergency Operations Center of said province.

This was possible thanks to the commitment assumed by the State company, within the framework of its social management policy and which is part of the agreements reached during its participation in the Dialogue Table in which representatives of the provincial council and various authorities of area.

It should be noted that the mayor of Ilo has already given his authorization to install a control panel to monitor these security cameras, in a house in the aforementioned sector.

It is important to point out that PETROPERÚ negotiated the purchase of six video surveillance cameras as part of the commitment assumed in the Dialogue Table of Ilo and, after coordination and negotiations with the owners of the houses, it was possible to obtain the approval of four owners who agreed to install these cameras in their homes.

In this way, the state company contributes to reinforcing citizen security in the port, where the New Terminal Ilo is being built, a sales plant that will allow the reception, storage and dispatch of various fuels, benefiting not only Moquegua but the entire South of the country.
