Public schools of Piura received Copé books and school packages

- Delivery of books is part of the library implementation program carried out by PETROPERU.
- School kits were also delivered to more than 1,200 students.
Public schools of Piura received Copé books and school packages

Nearly two thousand students of Educational Institutions of Piura will have access to the publications of Ediciones Copé that PETROPERU recently delivered in that northern city, as part of the program of implementation of libraries in schools.

Among the publications delivered are the works of great Peruvian writers, such as Abraham Valdelomar and Cesar Vallejo, as well as the novels, essays, poetry and winning stories of the Copé Award literary contest of PETROPERU, which will be available for teachers and students.

Thus, the Sechura Divine Educational Institution, which has 1,400 students, received 104 copies of Copé books. While the Educational Institution San Pedro de Parachique, in Sechura, with 520 students, also benefited with 104 books plus 560 packages of school supplies.

Also, the Educational Institutions Fray Martin, Areas Tecnicas y Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui de Huarmaca, in Huancabamba, Piura, received 700 school packages, which benefit 662 students and 38 teachers from those schools.

This way, PETROPERU continues to bring culture to various cities in the country, promoting education and reading in schoolchildren in public educational institutions.
