Proposals were presented for the construction of Auxiliary Units of the New Talara Refinery
According to the schedule established in the bases of the process, the public act of presentation and opening of proposals for the Service of Detail Engineering, Supply and Construction (EPC) of the Auxiliary Units and Complementary Works (UA & TC) for the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT) took place today.
The act had the participation of COBRA-SCL UA & TC CONSORTIUM, made up of the pre-qualified suppliers Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios S.A., and Sinohydro Corporation Limited and the CONSORCIO ISFC TALARA, made up of Integrated Solutions Services Inc., Sacyrs Fluor S.A. and Sacyr Industrial S.L.U. - COSAPI S.A. Both suppliers qualified technically and their proposals will be subject to subsequent verification according to what is indicated in the bases of the process.
The COBRA-SCL UA & TC CONSORTIUM presented a commercial proposal of USD 936,589,527.55 (nine hundred thirty-six million five hundred and eighty-nine thousand five hundred twenty-seven and 55/100 US dollars) and the CONSORTIUM ISFC TALARA presented a proposal for USD 1,169,718,874.51 (one billion, one hundred sixty-nine million seven hundred eighteen thousand eight hundred seventy-four with 51/100 US dollars). The two proposals consider the adaptation to the fuel quality regulation EURO 6.
The public act was attended by the members of the Special Committee of the aforementioned process, chaired by Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante, General Manager of PETROPERÚ; Jorge Almestar Mauricio, Refining Manager Talara and Guillermo Bergelund Seminar, Supply Chain Manager. Likewise, the Notary Public participated, Dr. Alfredo Paino Scarpati.
It’s necessary to indicate that the commercial proposals are subject to the corresponding evaluations, the results of which will be informed no later than December 18, 2017.
Likewise, for the sake of transparency, PETROPERÚ will inform in the shortest possible time the total amount of the investment in infrastructure and financial expenses of the PMRT.
