PETROPERU addresses public opinion to report the following:
- On the afternoon of Friday, August 21, 2020, the Ucayali river boat and the Río Tahuayo barge were released, after being held for six days by the natives of the Concordia area, who have been requesting the State for health care, bonds, among others.
- This release, which has allowed both vessels to continue with the safe transportation of 6,800 barrels of 84 octane gasoline to the city of Yurimaguas, was achieved thanks to the efforts carried out by the Regional Government of Loreto, in coordination with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM).
- PETROPERU, firm with its commitment to supply quality fuels, safely and responsibly to all the peoples of the Amazon, welcomes the beginning of the dialogue within the framework of the law and the rule of law.
