President of PETROPERU supervises works in Conchán Refinery
The President of PETROPERU, Eng. Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante, took a tour this morning of the facilities of Conchán Refinery, where he noted the progress of some works that are being executed.
During the day, the high official made a tour of the Port Terminal, where he verified the progress of the work of the Dissolved Air Flotation System (DAF) Plant, whose objective is to treat wastewater from the refinery Likewise, the completed works of replacement of the Submarine Line of black products. He also visited the area where the new Laboratory is being built, a work that presents a 40% progress. When it goes into operation, adequate environments will be available to improve the precision and accuracy of the tests. The construction area of the new 60MB tanks with floating roof and where gasoline will be stored, with a 95% progress, was also part of the works visited.
He also noted that the extension of the sewer system through which the submarine lines that connect the Conchán Refinery with the multibuoys mooring is about to be completed.
Bertarelli Bustamante carried out the inspection accompanied by technical personnel who explained, in detail, the tasks that are being carried out, within the framework of the fulfillment of DS 081-2007-EM (Regulation of Hydrocarbon Transportation by Pipelines).
