Piura locals enjoy the exhibition "FOSIL" at the Grau house Museum
PETROPERU made available to the public of Piura the exhibition "FÓSIL, a Vision of Peru 200 million years ago", which can be visited in the Grau House Museum, located in 662 Tacna Street, Piura.
This scientific exhibition was inaugurated on May 21 and aims to explore the implicit value that fossils have for the understanding of the Earth, its formation, its resources and its possibilities, since it is always important to return to the sources, rethink the origins and consider reflecting on the basis of the very foundations of the hydrocarbon industry.
The curator Aldo Alván was in charge of the assembly of the exhibition and the support of institutions such as the Commander of the First Naval Zone allowed the use of the temporary halls of the Grau House Museum.
The Institute of Paleontology of the National University of Piura that develops an important research work in the north of the country, also provided its collaboration and provided some pieces that can be seen by the public.
The sample has a permanent guide, expert in the matter, who is in charge of directing the whole tour for the general public until Friday, June 28, when the exhibition will end.
PETROPERU invites the general public to visit this exhibition and promises to continue developing various activities that contribute to the cultural development of the country. Admission is free.
