Petroperú will train 250 students at Senati
With the aim of offering adequate training that enhances the skills of young people and prepares them for the demanding labor market, PETROPERÚ began the program of technical courses for the benefit of 250 outstanding fourth and fifth year high school students from public educational institutions.
Students will receive certified technical training in the courses of graphic design, digital marketing, universal welding, electronics and electricity, as well as IT maintenance and support, specialties that have a high labor demand in the area.
The program, which will culminate at the end of next February, will be in charge of the National Industrial Work Training Service (SENATI) and will provide participants with educational materials, personal protective equipment when required and will cover mobility for all classes.
It is important to specify that the selection stage of applicants was carried out in coordination with the Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL) and 439 students from the educational institutions of the districts of Pariñas, La Brea-Negritos, Lobitos and El Alto applied. The group of young beneficiaries also includes ten children of artisanal fishermen from La Brea-Negritos and Cabo Blanco.
This initiative is part of PETROPERÚ's Talara 2025 Community Relations Plan and reaffirms its voluntary social commitments to the population of the area of influence of the New Talara Refinery and the temporary operation of oil lots I, VI and Z-69.
