PETROPERU will start asphalt placement in Av. Argentina in Ilo

As part of the commitments made by PETROPERU at the Dialogue Table in Ilo, the state oil company announced the next start of the paving works of Argentina Avenue in that city. This was reported by the Corporate Manager of Management and Communications, Beatriz Alva Hart, during the session of the Dialogue Table held today.

“Our interest is the participation of local workers in this work. In August, the call comes out and at the end of September the work would begin,” said the official.

On the other hand, Alva Hart referred to the installation of six security cameras. He said that "the cameras are already held by the municipality. They just need to tell us where they are going to install,” added the official. He also clarified that "the Company requested in due course the place of installation and PETROPERU's commitment is its installation, but not the space," he said.

Regarding the situation of arbitration with Felguera, the representative of the Spanish firm said that there is a good predisposition in the negotiation process with contractors.

Finally, Alva Hart pointed out that PETROPERU has been acting with total transparency: “what we want is to keep you informed permanently with the most complete transparency”; emphasizing that the state oil company maintains its commitment to the development of Ilo through the development of activities planned in its Social Management Plan.
