- Announcement was made during the Dialogue Table that took place in Moquegua.
Following the commitments made by PETROPERU to the population of Ilo, a new meeting of the Dialogue Table was held, with the participation of local authorities, the Defense Front, neighborhood councils, and representatives of trade union organizations of the capital of Moquegua and PETROPERU in the facilities of the Municipal Management Room of Ilo.
The meeting included, among other points, PETROPERU's initiative to install a Decentralized Citizen Attention Office, where information will be provided on the progress of the New Ilo Terminal, which will allow the demand of liquid fuels destined, mainly, to the southern region of the country to be met satisfactorily and quickly.
Likewise, information related to the job board of the Ilo Work Directorate will be offered, since work calls are expected to be made to cover temporary positions in the work that PETROPERU has already begun to build, 24 km south of the capital of Moquegua. Likewise, the contracting processes and their results will be informed. The location of this office will be announced next January.
This awaited work is a demonstration of the fulfillment of the commitment of PETROPERU with the city of Ilo, because with this investment the Company aims to offer determined support to the progress and development of the city.
