PETROPERÚ will provide support to earthquake victims in the Amazon

PETROPERÚ addresses the public opinion to report the following:

1. The Company will provide social support to the population affected by the 7.5° earthquake that occurred today at 5:52 am with the epicenter in Santa María de Nieva, Condorcanqui province, Amazonas department. Given the emergency situation, a significant volume of non-perishable food is being prepared to be distributed as soon as possible in the affected communities and localities in the disaster area.
2. On the other hand, immediately after the earthquake occurred, PETROPERÚ activated its contingency plan to prevent and/or address any damage that the North Peruvian Pipeline may have suffered. In this sense, an inspection that is underway by air and land means began to identify any risk situation in the infrastructure and facilities, as well as in the containment blocks in the areas with the highest risk of geodynamic alterations.
3. PETROPERÚ sympathizes with the population affected by the earthquake and deeply regrets the personal and material damage suffered by the victims. At the same time, it is committed to joining efforts with the public and private sectors to contribute to the reconstruction efforts.
