PETROPERU will provide rapid tests and biosecurity material to the Talara health center
Facing the State of National Emergency prepared to counteract the advance of the COVID-19 coronavirus, PETROPERU announced that, in the coming days, it will deliver COVID-19 IgM/IgG rapid test kits, which will allow the II Carlos Vivanco Health Center de Talara carry out in less time the identification of positive cases and the subsequent isolation to avoid the spread of the virus.
In addition, the state-owned company will provide said health establishment with 15,000 units of biosafety equipment for doctors, nurses, technicians and health center personnel, the first response front in this COVID-19 pandemic.
This valuable contribution will allow health personnel to have N-95 masks, gloves, protective glasses, disposable boots and caps, surgical gloves, liquid soap and gel alcohol, in order to provide adequate and safe care to patients.
Also, since Saturday, April 11, the state company has been providing food service to health personnel in the province of Talara, who work long hours.
Fumigation of markets and schools
In coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara, the supply centers of the city will be fumigated, to ensure their cleaning and disinfection and to protect the health of merchants and neighbors who come to buy basic food in this period of social isolation. .
In addition, it coordinates with the Talara Local Management Unit, UGEL, to do the same with all the educational institutions in its jurisdiction (65 study centers that include those that provide out-of-school initial education) and the Luciano Castillo Colonna Higher Technological Institute, prior to the restart of classes.
Food for vulnerable families
The state company will provide a thousand packages with basic necessities for families in vulnerable situations. The delivery will be made in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara, for which purpose PETROPERU has established a delivery protocol by means of standards that will be duly signed by the beneficiaries.
