PETROPERU will lay asphalt on Jr. Argentina in Ilo

Representatives of the civil society, authorities and officials of PETROPERU met in the city of Ilo in a new session of the Dialogue Table, in which it was established - as part of the agreements reached - to execute the asphalting of Jr. Argentina, a of the main roads of that port.

The Social Management and Communications Corporate Manager of the state oil company, Beatriz Alva Hart, said the works will begin the last week of December, thus fulfilling one of the commitments assumed in the last session. In addition, "100% of the workers in this work will be illegal," he said.

In that sense, Alva Hart said that PETROPERU will keep the population permanently informed about the execution of the work, with the most complete transparency, emphasizing that the Company maintains its commitment to the development of Ilo through the development of activities foreseen in its Plan of Social management.

The next session of the Dialogue Table will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2020.
