PETROPERU will continue the Clearing and Early Warning work on the access roads of the ONP
In the coming weeks, PETROPERU will continue with the clearing and Early Warning work in the Access Roads of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP), in alliance with the neighboring communities.
This program is part of the maintenance work carried out on this infrastructure to ensure the safe transport of oil from the Amazon to the coast of the country.
In this sense, as part of the previous activities, as of today until the 16th of this month, PETROPERU Community Relations staff, will carry out informative meetings in communities of the Urarinas and Lagunas districts, in the Loreto department, located in the jurisdiction of the Section I of the ONP, where this activity will be executed.
During the informative meetings the communities will be able to know how this activity is being prepared, the sectors where it will be developed, as well as the requirements that the companies that participate in the service must meet.
Another important issue to be addressed are the considerations that companies must take into account, such as the rotating system in the hiring of local labor, so that all the inhabitants of the communities considered have the opportunity to work.
Through the work of clearing and early warning, PETROPERU continues with the effort to rebuild the relationship with the neighboring populations to the ONP and maintain the existing climate of social peace.
