PETROPERU will carry out free medical campaign in Ilo

PETROPERU will carry out, this Friday 19, a medical campaign regarding the care and treatment of skin, aimed at the population, and specially, children; focusing on photoprotection and ultraviolet radiation. The session -  which will take place at the Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera School - will have the presence of first-level dermatological professionals and thousands of solar blockers will be given away as a preventive measure.

PETROPERU is aware that prolonged exposure without protection from the sun’s rays - whether for recreational or occupational reasons - increases the probability of developing skin cancer and other diseases.

The activity is part of the annual Social Develpment of the Company, thus benefitting the populations of the influence areas of PETROPERU, in this case school children as well as the teaching staff of the Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera School, an emblematic educational institution in the port of Ilo.
