Petroperú trains Talara women in various enterprises
Petroperú started a new technical-productive training program in cooking, breadmaking, and baking/pastry making in the city of Talara, this time aimed at beneficiaries of the La Brea - Negritos and Pariñas neighborhood councils.
The training program is part of the Community Relations Plan of the state oil company and has the objective of contributing to the improvement of the socioeconomic situation of women from Talara by strengthening their productive and technical capacities.
The training will be in charge of SENATI, which -for six months- will provide theoretical and practical teaching in which the participants will receive continuous support to guarantee the achievement of their objectives.
Simultaneously, the formalization of the eight best business initiatives of the participants will be promoted, both from Pariñas and La Brea-Negritos, which includes the procedures for establishing a company and providing capital.
This new venture also has the support of the Citizen Participation Sub-Management of the Provincial Municipality of Talara and the Economic Development and Social Promotion Management of the District Municipality of La Brea-Negritos.
It is important to point out that Petroperú constantly and sustainably promotes the development of Social Management programs for the benefit of Talara, thus reaffirming its commitment to the local population, by contributing to the promotion of business initiatives that, in one way or another, create more employment in the area.
