Petroperú supports the musical training of schoolchildren from Villa El Salvador
Petroperú has launched a program aimed at strengthening the musical skills of schoolchildren in the area of influence of the Conchán Refinery. The main objective of the activity is to promote musical skills among students, promoting values such as responsibility and artistic discipline to keep them away from at-risk and vulnerable situations.
On June 25, the program was launched at the Max Uhle and Las Palmeras educational institutions, located in the Villa El Salvador district. Students, teachers and representatives of Petroperú witnessed the presentation of the new instruments incorporated this year. In addition, the teachers of the Cadenza Music School, responsible for the execution of the program, performed a demonstration of various musical pieces to encourage the participation of new members.
The program will run until December of this year and will benefit approximately 70 young people from the Las Palmeras, Max Uhle, Jesús de Nazareth, Peruano Canadiense and Elías Aguirre schools. The program includes the introduction of string instruments (violin, viola, double bass and cello) to create a symphony orchestra atmosphere, fostering rigor, creativity and a new musical style among the area's teenagers.
Directors, teachers and parents expressed their gratitude for Petroperú's constant support in activities that contribute to the social and artistic development of the communities in its area of influence.
