During the opening day of this module, Dr. Beatriz Alva Hart, Corporate Manager of Social Management and Communications, highlighted the impetus and tenacity of the participants in these workshops, demonstrating that with the due support and encouragement of State companies it is possible to get ahead.
These trainings seek to recognize, respect and value the cultural diversity of indigenous peoples, respecting the right to maintain their customs and social practices and are part of the annual work plan carried out by the state oil company in its areas of influence.
It should be noted that the training is not limited to the Amazon region, but also encompasses the Conchán Refinery surroundings, located south of Lima, since more than 500 women from 20 human settlements in Villa El Salvador have been trained in this area. Their products are also displayed in the module located in the main office of PETROPERU, located at Av. Canaval and Moreyra 150, San Isidro.
